This is The EdUp Experience President Series Episode #49.  This episode marks the one year anniversary of The EdUp Experience's first episdoe release on January 25th, 2020.  Since then, 148 episodes have been released, including 49 in the President Series, and people have listened to EdUp more than 32,000 times!

In this episode, sponsored by MDT Marketing, we welcome Dr. Michael Cioce, President, Rowan College at Burlington County!  Establishing a brand is important - Michael's goal is to communicate that RCBC has the infrastructure, technology, and faculty, for students so they KNOW they don't have to lose the entire school year.  Listen to Michael talk about RCBSs investment in student (customer) service to help students in need, why his Presidential advisory council for diversity, equity, and inclusion is critical to serving the underserved, and why Associate degrees will be important for those looking to get back to work!

After leading student success initiatives, innovation, and growth as a vice president and acting president, Dr. Michael A. Cioce became the sixth president of Rowan College at Burlington County – one of the nation’s top 25 community colleges – in September 2018. Since his appointment as vice president of Enrollment Management and Student Success in 2015, RCBC has achieved several noteworthy accomplishments. These include enrollment increases, a new 3+1 program with Rowan University that provides one of the nation’s most affordable bachelor’s degrees, increased opportunity for high school students to earn college credit, and a new approach to the college’s student services in terms of customer service and organizational structure. As a first-generation student, Dr. Cioce is committed to making college affordable and accessible to all students who are willing to work toward their goals.
