65: Why Higher Education Should Look at Vermont - with Richard Schneider, President Emeritus at Norwich University

This is The EdUp Experience, President Series Episode #19 - On this episode of The EdUp Experience, we welcome Dr. Richard Schneider, President Emeritus at Norwich University.  Hear him talk about how the higher education community should look at Vermont when planning to adjust for Covid.  He also talks about, among other things, why Covid should be treated like an enemy and why college presidents should be careful when picking vendors to help prevent the spread.

Few people hold the titles of Rear Admiral, Commanding General and University President simultaneously, but Richard Schneider, Delaware '86 PhD, answers to all three. He is a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves, with responsibility for the area east of the Rockies. He was the 23rd President of Norwich University in Northfield, Vt., a military institution, and, as such, serves as the Commanding General of the Vermont State Militia.
