In 2021 Dr. la Branche was named the very first chancellor of the University of Tennessee Southern. During his eight-year tenure at Louisburg College, La Branche oversaw the United Methodist-affiliated school’s 22 percent increase in enrollment, a 58 percent increase in graduates, & a five-year, $18 million fundraising campaign that exceeded its goals by 20 percent. La Branche previously served as senior vice president of external affairs at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala.
